Three Years of KULLI Parfum
Three years ago, KULLI Parfum began as an idea.
Today, I look around KULLI Atelier and see shelves filled with fragrances that once existed only in my imagination.
Some were inspired by Lebanon.
Some were inspired by Kentucky.
Some came from history, nature, places, memories, people, colors, and emotions.
And some simply began with a question:
What would this feeling smell like?
That curiosity has become one of my favorite parts of being a perfume maker.
I don't want KULLI to simply make something that smells beautiful. I want every fragrance to have a reason for existing.
A story.
A memory.
A little piece of someone's world captured in a bottle.
One Year at Mellwood Art Center
This year also marks one year of KULLI Atelier being in business at Mellwood Art Center in Louisville.
What started as my little atelier has become something much bigger to me.
It has become a community.
People walk through the doors to shop, design jewelry, smell perfume, create their own signature fragrances, celebrate birthdays, go on perfume dates, attend parties, collaborate, make art, talk, laugh, and sometimes simply hang out.
That's exactly what I wanted.
KULLI Atelier isn't supposed to feel like a traditional perfume counter.
It is supposed to feel like a creative space where you are invited to explore.
Art. Design. Community.
And perfume has become one of the most beautiful ways I've been able to bring those things together.

JOY was created around one of the simplest and most important emotions: happiness.
Sea salt, sweet grass, fresh mint, dried roses, and warm Egyptian amber come together in a fragrance that begins fresh and uplifting before settling into something soft and warm.
But JOY also carries another message that is very important to me:
PRIDE is JOY.
And Pride isn't one color. It is all of us. 🌈
That is why JOY has appeared in bottles of different vibrant colors — celebrating individuality, diversity, and the idea that happiness doesn't have to look the same for everyone.

WHIMSY B*TCH
Sweet. Green. Playful. Unapologetically Fun.
Sometimes perfume doesn't need to be serious.
WHIMSY B*TCH is for the person who follows curiosity, colors outside the lines, laughs loudly, and doesn't need permission to be a little weird.
The fragrance combines neroli, sea salt, saffron, fig, strawberry, amber, and sandalwood.
The result is a sweet green gourmand that feels playful, modern, and unexpected.
It is whimsical.
It is mischievous.
It is memorable.
And yes — the name makes me smile every time I say it.
TYRIAN PURPLE
A Louisville Perfume Inspired by Ancient Lebanon
My Lebanese heritage will always be part of KULLI.
Tyrian Purple was inspired by the legendary purple dye associated with the ancient Phoenician cities along the Mediterranean coast, including Tyre in present-day Lebanon.
That history led me to one very unusual perfume question:
What would the color purple smell like?
My answer became Tyrian Purple.
Lavender, rose, saffron, thyme, violet, blackberry, fig, jasmine, amber, sandalwood, vanilla, oud, and patchouli create something rich, complex, and expressive.
For me, Tyrian Purple is more than a perfume.
It is history meeting imagination.
It is Lebanon meeting Louisville.
And it is one small way I get to carry my heritage into the work I'm creating today.

KULLI CLASSIC BOURBON
Lebanon Meets Kentucky
This is the fragrance that started everything.
KULLI Classic Bourbon is especially personal because it represents two places that helped shape who I am: Lebanon and Kentucky.
The fragrance brings together bergamot, lilac, blood orange, gardenia, ylang ylang, vanilla, cedarwood, fresh dirt, bourbon, and myrrh.
There is brightness.
There are flowers.
There is earth.
There is wood.
And, of course, there is bourbon.
For me, Classic Bourbon represents the meeting of two homes.
My Lebanese roots and the Kentucky community where I've built my life and my business.
When someone visits KULLI Atelier for the first time and asks where they should begin exploring my fragrances, Classic Bourbon is usually one of the first bottles I reach for.
KULLI OUD
A Connection to the Middle East
Oud has a completely different presence.
Rich, woody, warm, and unmistakable, KULLI OUD brings together bergamot, orange blossom, violet, ylang ylang, oud wood, sandalwood, and white musk.
It is another fragrance that allows me to bring pieces of Middle Eastern fragrance culture into the collection while creating something through my own perspective here in Louisville.
PINK MYRRH PERFUME OIL
Ancient Inspiration With a Modern Spirit
Pink Myrrh plays with contrast.
The ancient, resinous character associated with myrrh meets a bottle and personality that feel playful, modern, and distinctly KULLI.
That contrast is something you'll find throughout my work.
Old and new.
Lebanon and Kentucky.
History and imagination.
Fine fragrance and a little bit of whimsy.
Because perfume doesn't have to fit neatly inside a box.

KULLI MELLWOOD
A Perfume Inspired by Our Louisville Home
I couldn't create fragrances at Mellwood Art Center without eventually creating one inspired by Mellwood itself.
KULLI Mellwood is my love letter to the place KULLI Atelier calls home.
Blue spruce, cedarwood, green tea, sage, fresh dirt, and bergamot come together in a fragrance inspired by nature, creativity, artists, studios, and the wonderfully unconventional energy that makes Mellwood special.
To me, it smells like walking through an artist's studio after rain.
It smells like creativity.
It smells like possibility.
And now it smells like home.
NOIR ELECTRIC
Mysterious. Electric. Unforgettable.
Noir Electric was created for the nights when anything feels possible.
It begins bright and luminous with bergamot and orange blossom before moving into the softness of honeysuckle and creamy almond. Tobacco anchors the fragrance, creating a warm, smooth, slightly smoky finish that gives Noir Electric its confidence and mystery.
The notes are intentionally simple:

KULLI SWEET PEA

When I think about three years of KULLI Parfum and one year of KULLI Atelier at Mellwood Art Center, I'm incredibly proud — but mostly, I'm grateful.
I came to America from Lebanon carrying my culture, memories, creativity, and dreams with me.
Louisville became another part of my story.
Now I get to take pieces of both worlds and turn them into something tangible.
A perfume.
A piece of jewelry.
An experience.
A gathering.
A collaboration.
A story.
And the most meaningful part is watching other people become part of it.
