In fact, even professional jewelers need specialized equipment to determine whether a diamond was grown in a laboratory or mined from the earth.
Both are made of crystallized carbon.

Earth-Grown Diamonds
Earth-grown diamonds were formed billions of years ago deep beneath the Earth's surface under extreme heat and pressure.
They are geological miracles.
Every earth-grown diamond represents a tiny piece of our planet's history.
Many people love the romance of that.
The idea that a diamond formed millions or billions of years ago and somehow found its way onto their finger is incredibly meaningful.
For some clients, that story matters.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Earth-grown diamonds also tend to hold rarity differently because the supply is naturally limited.
If rarity and geological history are important to you, an earth-grown diamond may be the perfect choice.
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are created using advanced technology that replicates the same conditions that occur naturally beneath the earth.
The result?
A real diamond.
The biggest advantage is value.
